Parking Lot Striping Pricing — Unit Rates, Stall Counts, and Volume Tiers

Per-Linear-Foot Pricing
Standard 4-inch traffic paint stall lines: $0.30 to $0.45/lf. Standard 4-inch thermoplastic stall lines (90 mil): $0.85 to $1.35/lf. 6-inch lines (stop bars, crosswalks, fire lane borders): $0.55 to $0.75/lf paint; $1.25 to $2.00/lf thermoplastic. 8-inch lines: $0.70 to $0.95/lf paint; $1.60 to $2.50/lf thermoplastic. 12-inch stop bars: $1.00 to $1.50/lf paint; $2.00 to $3.50/lf thermoplastic. Fire lane curb paint (red curb): $1.00 to $2.00/lf (curb face only, standard 6-inch height). All pricing assumes fresh clean pavement surface and standard daytime scheduling.
Per-Stall and Per-Stencil Pricing
Standard parking stall (18 lf stall lines + 2 passes per stall): $15 to $25 in paint; $35 to $55 in thermoplastic. Accessible stall symbol (ISA in stall): $50 to $80 in thermoplastic (paint stencil: $20 to $35). ADA complete stall package (symbol + access aisle "NO PARKING" + stall lines + sign post included): $200 to $350 in thermoplastic, $90 to $150 in paint. Van-accessible complete stall package: $250 to $425 thermoplastic, $120 to $200 paint. Directional arrow stencil: $35 to $65 each (paint); $75 to $120 each (thermoplastic). "FIRE LANE NO PARKING" stencil: $45 to $80 each stencil (paint); $85 to $140 each (thermoplastic). Speed bump yellow diagonal stripe: $65 to $95 (paint) per bump face.
Minimum Project Fee and Mobilization
Minimum project fee: $350 for paint; $500 for thermoplastic (reflects equipment setup, material heating, and minimum crew requirements). Mobilization (within 30 miles of Salt Lake City): $200 to $400, included in projects over $1,000 in stripe work. Combined project discounts: scheduling striping to follow seal coat cure on the same project (within 5 days) allows shared mobilization—10 percent discount on the striping mobilization fee. After-hours premium: 20 to 30 percent on labor for work between 5 p.m. and 6 a.m. or on weekends.
Volume Discount and Annual Contract Pricing
Projects over $3,000 in stripe work: 5 percent discount. Projects over $7,500: 8 percent discount. Annual contract (commit to seasonal re-stripe on all properties in a portfolio): 10 percent discount on aggregate stripe work. Multi-property portfolio contracts include guaranteed scheduling in April to May (optimal spring window before summer heat) and September to October (pre-freeze fall window). Portfolio pricing is available for property management companies with 3 or more commercial properties in the Wasatch Front region.

- How is a stall counted for pricing purposes?
- A standard stall includes 2 side stall lines at 18 feet each (36 lf per stall) for 90-degree stalls. Angled stalls (45 or 60 degrees) are longer line lengths—19 to 21 feet per line. We count stalls and provide a total linear footage with the quote so you can verify.
- Can you provide a striping quote from a site plan without a site visit?
- Yes for new construction or well-documented existing lots with a current site plan. We measure stall count, lf of fire lane, directional markings, and accessible stall count from the plan and provide a budget range. On-site measurement before the project starts confirms actual dimensions—we do not charge for the on-site verification measurement.
- Do you carry workers comp and liability insurance?
- Yes. We carry $1 million per occurrence general liability and workers compensation insurance. Certificates of insurance are provided with every contract package on request.
